2006 Eight Arms Syrah

With 19 months in 100% French oak barrels, this reddish purple ink in a bottle is a personal favorite. We were delighted to stumble upon this artisan wine at its release party in Berkeley more than a year ago. With just enough dark red fruit balanced with coffee and chocolate-touched tannins, this wine's body is curvy and fabulous. This was unanimously voted the favorite wine of the evening at our last FUN-damentals wine class and we simply can't get enough.
