We will help you find and express a preference for the wine that appeals to you, as well as help you confidently choose a suitable wine when dining in a restaurant.
Being able to succinctly express the main characteristics of any wine served - regardless of the occasion - and perhaps even knowing a fun fact or story about it is surprisingly easy, and is all you need to turn what might have seemed daunting in the past into a most pleasurable experience. Better yet, you will be amazed by how little it takes to impress the people around you with your wine knowledge and sophistication.
We will shamelessly cut through the unnecessary mystery, avoid pompous language and teach you everything you need to know about the basics of:
- Wine Making (e.g. Screw top or cork?)
- Wine Types (e.g. What is there to know about Chardonnay?)
- Growing Regions (e.g. What's so special about wines from Bordeaux?)
- Pairings (e.g. Which wine pairs well with which food?)
The best thing is that along the way you will not only learn the theory, but smell and taste delicious examples of some fantastic wines, combining education with indulgence.
